Background
Elian was born in Coesbur and grew up with his folks who are still there as well as a couple of siblings. From a young age, he was fascinated by the riders and the archers with their bows and crossbows riding on their horses. As soon as he was old enough to hold a bow, he began practicing and was soon to become a warrior of his people. Fierce in battle, but warm at home, he has an infectious sort of grin and a trickster personality, preferring to lighten the mood with humor when things become too heavy. He likes to teach the kids among the clan and spends a good deal of time when not hunting and protecting the village, trying to teach others and bring laughter and hope when things are grim. He and Alina have been together for many years, first training together to fight, and then at some point the relationship developed into something more. They tend to know what the other is thinking in most situations, and have learned to compliment one another's strengths and bolster one another's weaknesses.

Characteristics
Description
Standing just a little over six feet in height, Elian is athletic without being overtly muscular, lean rather than bulky. His arms, however, show the strength of an archer, one accustomed to firing a longbow as well as a crossbow. He moves with a sort of easy grace, balanced, and surefooted. In his late twenties, he tends to wear his dark hair long and lets it fall loose unless he is fighting, and then it is often pulled back from eyes so dark brown as to seem almost black. Scruffy, with a short growth of beard and moustache, he has a sort of infectious grin when he smiles, broad and warm, and the sort that tends to encourage others to do the same.
He is often dressed in colors that blend in with the trees and the leaves — drab browns, greens, greys, and blacks. His trousers are close-fitting, and leather straps here and there hold his weapons and a quiver for arrows or bolts. He has a long sword of hammered metal that he keps strapped to his waist most of the time.
Quirks
Challenge Accepted - Likes a challenge, a dare, an occasional feat of skill. Has a bit of a competitive nature at times, though good-naturedly so.
Infectious Grin - Mischievous and playful, while he can be serious when the occasion calls for it, he prefers to lighten the situation with humor.
Unfiltered - Things come out of his mouth often exactly as they occur in his head with little in the way of filtering.
