Background

Tough on those who break the laws of the Ark, Chancellor Thelonius Jaha was none-the-less a compassionate, principled man who sought to serve the people of the Ark in everything he did. His wife is long dead, and his son died in the Unity Day bombing. Jaha chose to remain on Go-Sci to launch the sections of the Ark out of orbit, sacrificing himself to save his people.
