Background

Originally part of The 100, Julie spent most of her initial time on the ground helping out with gathering food and firewood. There wasn't much for her to get into since she isn't exactly a political animal and fighting is not exactly her forte. However, once the ark arrived then things changed for her. She leaped back into her work. Discovering that her mentor had been killed in the impact, she's taken to her job and been wrapped up in it for some time now. As the camp's radiological specialist, she has a lot of testing to do. But Julie was also given knowledge to aid in her understanding of the effects of the war, she also had to understand the original war that devastated the Earth. Someone knows where the bunkers are buried and what was likely to have been where. Of course that was years ago when the war struck. But if Mount Weather is still intact…

Characteristics

Julie has never been someone to shout or really get into the middle of fights, but when it comes to something she knows then she will speak up and hold her ground. Back on the station she mostly kept to herself and her work despite being an avid prankster and social butterfly in the years leading up to it. She got her work and suddenly the child vanished, nearly overnight. Today she is serious and will give rare smiles when they are earned.

Description

Julie is fairly pretty in her appearance, but she doesn't seem to try very hard. Of course on the ground, succeeding is a little more difficult. Her fair skin and narrow face is framed well with the thick, straight brunette hair when it is down. She stands just about five feet, two inches and has a subtly flattering build to her. The most striking part of her might be the bright blue of her eyes and a slight turn of her lips that makes her almost look like she's perpetually displeased with something.

She's wearing a set of standard grey pants with cargo pockets on the side of each knee, the pockets a bit frayed from her time as one of the 100. Her top is a crimson red raglan with dark blue sleeves. Over it she has a drab green overshirt that looks like it was salvaged as part of a uniform from Mt Weather. Footwear is basic running shoe hand-me-downs. Accessories are limited to a black nylon tool belt that goes with the work she does - a tiny medical pouch and another with some kind of electronic device inside. The only jewelry she wears is a tattered leather-cord necklace without anything attached.

Musical Inspiration

I shut my eyes to not go blind
Things I can't see, I see in my mind
Oh, now the passing clouds of rain
Have surely passed us by
Poor is the man
That believes his own lie
And the sky will tell me
I'm not the only one
And the sky will tell me
I must believe the sun
